Omaha to Steamboat Springs is an approximately 5.5-hour flight. You can also fly; or drive; or do a combination of train and bus. The time zone difference moving from Central Standard Time to Mountain Standard Time is minus 1 hour. Traveling from Omaha in January, things will get slightly colder in Steamboat Springs: highs are around 27°F and lows about 7°F. Finish your sightseeing early on the 13th (Thu) to allow enough time to drive to Alta.

On the 14th (Fri), tour the pleasant surroundings at Grand Targhee Ski Resort. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the next day: stroll through Peaked sports.
