You can drive from Tampa to Everglades City in 3.5 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of bus and taxi. In August, daily temperatures in Everglades City can reach 92°F, while at night they dip to 76°F. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 3rd (Mon) early enough to drive to Miami.
