Known as the capital of country music, the thriving city of Nashville combines old-world southern charm with a progressive urban flair.
On the 16th (Sun), examine the collection at Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum, then wander the streets of Downtown Nashville, and then steep yourself in history at Bowen Plantation House. On the 17th (Mon), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: steep yourself in history at Andrew Jackson's Hermitage, then see the interesting displays at RCA Studio B, then contemplate the long history of Belle Meade Plantation, and finally take an in-depth tour of The Johnny Cash Museum & Cafe.

More than just a charming Southern city, Franklin continues to receive accolades for its downtown Main Street district that has brings up words like "romantic," "small town," and "best place to visit" from numerous media sources.
Start off your visit on the 18th (Tue): steep yourself in history at Lotz House Museum, take in the history at Carter House, then steep yourself in history at Carnton, and finally explore the different monuments and memorials at McGavock Confederate Cemetery.
