Center of Fun in the Smokies

A tiny town with big tourist appeal, Pigeon Forge bills itself as the "Center of Fun in the Smokies." Just a short drive from the national park protecting the diverse plant and animal life of the Great Smoky Mountains, the town features numerous places to visit, such as bars, restaurants, cafes, theaters, and shops.
Step off the beaten path and head to Mountain Valley Winery and Sugarland Cellars. Get outdoors at Bluff Mountain Adventures and Gatlinburg Scenic Overlook. Step out of Pigeon Forge with an excursion to Bush's Visitor Center in Chestnut Hill--about 30 minutes away. Spend the 27th (Sun) exploring nature at Great Smoky Mountains National Park. There's still lots to do: do a tasting at Mill Bridge Winery, sample the fine beverages at Tennessee Legend Distillery - Newport Hwy, buy something for everyone on your list at The Village Shops, and look for gifts at Christmas Place.
