Getting from Grand Marais to Saint Ignace by car takes about 2 hours. Traveling from Grand Marais in August, you can expect nighttime temperatures to be somewhat warmer in Saint Ignace, with lows of 59°F. Cap off your sightseeing on the 6th (Thu) early enough to catch the ferry to Mackinac Island.
