Munising — 2 nights

Munising is a city on the southern shore of Lake Superior on the Upper Peninsula of the U.S. state of Michigan. Visiting Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore and Sand Point Beach will get you outdoors. Eschew the tourist crowds and head to The Manistique Boardwalk and River Walk and Chapel Rock and Beach. When in Munising, make a side trip to see Seney National Wildlife Refuge in Seney, approximately Seney away. The adventure continues: take a tour by water with Boat Tours & Water Sports.

Green Bay to Munising is an approximately 4-hour car ride. You can also do a combination of bus and car. Traveling from Green Bay in June, expect Munising to be a bit cooler, temps between 68°F and 49°F. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 12th (Sun) early enough to drive to Copper Harbor.
