Moab — 2 nights

The gateway to Utah's popular canyon country, Moab sits engulfed in the middle of desert wilderness.
On the 3rd (Sun), take in the dramatic natural features at Arches National Park. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the 4th (Mon): get outside with Outdoor Activities, then tour the pleasant surroundings at Bike Fiend, and then see Off-Road Tours.

Tampa to Moab is an approximately 9.5-hour combination of flight and car. You can also drive; or do a combination of bus and car. Due to the time zone difference, you'll gain 2 hours traveling from Tampa to Moab. Traveling from Tampa in July, expect nights in Moab to be slightly colder, around 67°F, while days are somewhat warmer, around 97°F. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 4th (Mon) so you can go by car to Monument Valley.

Getting from Moab to Monument Valley by car takes about 4 hours. Traveling from Moab in July, things will get little chillier in Monument Valley: highs are around 90°F and lows about 59°F. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 5th (Tue) early enough to travel to Bryce.

Bryce — 1 night

Serving as a gateway to the adjacent Bryce Canyon National Park, the tiny town of Bryce draws outdoor enthusiasts and nature lovers all year round.
Kick off your visit on the 6th (Wed): take some stellar pictures from Fairyland Point, then take some stellar pictures from Inspiration Point, then stroll through Navajo/Queens Garden Loop, and finally hike along Navajo Loop Trail.
