While traveling from Kanab, expect a bit cooler days and about the same nights in Moab, ranging from highs of 55°F to lows of 29°F. Finish your sightseeing early on the 26th (Tue) to allow enough time to drive to Capitol Reef National Park.

Capitol Reef National Park takes its name from a particularly rugged and scenic section of the Waterpocket Fold, a geologic "wrinkle" stretching for 160 km (100 mi) along a dry plateau surrounded by white Navajo sandstone cliffs and domes, and red canyons, buttes, and rock bridges.
