Vancouver is a city on the north bank of the Columbia River in the U.S. State of Washington, and the largest suburb of Portland, Oregon. Venture out of the city with trips to Multnomah Falls (in Bridal Veil), Oneonta Gorge (in Cascade Locks) and Mount Hood (in Hood River). There's much more to do: stroll through Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area, get impressive views of Mount St. Helens, and steep yourself in history at Fort Vancouver | National Historic Site.
