The capital of the United States, the District of Columbia contains the lion's share of the country's most treasured monuments, memorials, and public museums.
Your day-by-day itinerary now includes National Museum of African American History and Culture, Lincoln Memorial and United States Botanic Garden. On the 19th (Fri), learn more about the world around you at Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History, see the interesting displays at National Air and Space Museum, take in nature's colorful creations at United States Botanic Garden, explore the world behind art at National Gallery of Art, then take an in-depth tour of National Museum of African American History and Culture, and finally appreciate the history behind Lincoln Memorial. On your second day here, take in the waterfront activity at Harborfront Area and then get a sense of history and politics at White House.
