The tiny town of Friday Harbor is the largest village on the San Juan Islands, and it fits within just 2.6 km (1 sq mi) of space.
Kick off your visit on the 1st (Mon): immerse yourself in nature at Lime Kiln Point State Park and then get up close to creatures of the deep with a dolphin and whale watching tour.

Wrap up your sightseeing on the 1st (Mon) to allow time to travel to Port Angeles.

Port Angeles is a city in and the county seat of Clallam County, Washington, United States. Get outdoors at Hurricane Ridge and Deer Park. Change things up with these side-trips from Port Angeles: Olympic National Park (Murhut Falls & Olympic National Park). Traveling by flight from Port Angeles to Seattle takes an hour. Alternatively, you can drive; or take a bus. Prepare for somewhat warmer weather when traveling from Port Angeles in July: high temperatures in Seattle hover around 79°F and lows are around 60°F. On the 6th (Sat), you'll have the morning to explore before heading back home.
