Gillette to Yellowstone National Park is an approximately 7-hour car ride. You can also do a combination of flight and car. Traveling from Gillette in March, things will get a bit cooler in Yellowstone National Park: highs are around 36°F and lows about 10°F. On the 21st (Sun), you'll have the morning to explore before heading back home.
