Abiquiú is a small census-designated place located in Rio Arriba County, in northern New Mexico in the southwestern United States, about 53 miles (85 km) north of Santa Fe. Visit Bandelier National Monument and Puye Cliff Dwellings for their historical value. You'll explore and learn at Bradbury Science Museum and Ghost Ranch. Get out of town with these interesting Abiquiu side-trips: Chimayo (Centinela Traditional Arts, El Potrero Trading Post, & more), San Francisco de Assisi Mission Church (in Ranchos De Taos) and Dixon (La Chiripada Winery & Vivac Winery). There's lots more to do: learn about winemaking at Casa Abril Vineyards & Winery Tasting Room, stop by Maggie’s Diner From Wild Hogs Movie Set, stroll through Taos Ski Valley, and take in the exciting artwork at Fuller Lodge Art Center.
