Originally little more than a simple camp constructed to house workers who built a nearby dam on the Colorado River, Page is now a popular stop for travelers preparing a trip to Arizona's canyon country.
Kick off your visit on the 12th (Wed): take in breathtaking views at Antelope Canyon, then explore and take pictures at Horseshoe Bend, then admire the engineering at Glen Canyon Dam, and finally see human ingenuity at work at Glen Canyon Dam Overlook. Here are some ideas for day two: identify plant and animal life at Glen Canyon National Recreation Area.

Traveling by combination of bus and flight from Prescott to Page takes 4 hours. Alternatively, you can drive; or do a combination of car, train, and bus. Plan for somewhat warmer nights when traveling from Prescott in June since evenings lows in Page dip to 69°F. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 13th (Thu) early enough to drive to Tusayan.

Tusayan is a town, but was a census-designated place during the 2010 census. Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Rim Trail and East Rim Drive. Get out of town with these interesting Tusayan side-trips: Grand Canyon National Park (Desert View Watchtower & Grand Canyon North Rim). There's much more to do: take in breathtaking views at Grand Canyon South Rim, take some stellar pictures from Mather Point, and take in the pleasant sights at Pipe Creek Vista.

Traveling by car from Page to Tusayan takes 3 hours. Alternatively, you can take a bus; or take a shuttle. Traveling from Page in June, expect nights in Tusayan to be colder, around 42°F, while days are little chillier, around 85°F. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 16th (Sun) so you can go by car to Flagstaff.

Sitting at an elevation of 2,135 m (7,000 ft) and just a short trip from the Grand Canyon and other natural wonders, the city of Flagstaff attracts outdoor enthusiasts from around the world.
Start off your visit on the 17th (Mon): trek along West Fork Oak Creek Trail, then don't miss a visit to Sedona Airport Overlook, and then trek along Broken Arrow Trail. On your second day here, contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Chapel of the Holy Cross and then look and learn at Sedona Star Gazing.

Traveling by car from Tusayan to Flagstaff takes 1.5 hours. Alternatively, you can take a bus. In June in Flagstaff, expect temperatures between 82°F during the day and 45°F at night. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 18th (Tue) so you can travel back home.
