Get out of town with these interesting Austin side-trips: Lyndon B. Johnson State Park & Historic Site (in Stonewall), Burnet (Longhorn Cavern State Park & Inks Lake State Park) and Fredericksburg (St. Mary's Catholic Church, Fischer & Wieser's Das Peach Haus, &more). There's still lots to do: Head underground at Inner Space Cavern, sample the fine beverages at Garrison Brothers Distillery, contemplate the waterfront views at Landa Park, and learn about winemaking at Calais Winery.
