The first national park east of the Mississippi River, Acadia National Park draws visitors with its rugged landscape of ocean shoreline, low-slung granite mountains, dense woodlands, and pristine lakes.
Explore hidden gems such as Heart of Acadia Loop and Carriage Roads. Get outdoors at Gorham Mountain Trail and Bubble Rock. Step out of Acadia National Park to go to Bass Harbor and see Bass Harbor Head Lighthouse, which is approximately 36 minutes away. There's still lots to do: trek along Champlain Mountain & Beehive Loop Trail and examine the collection at The Seal Cove Auto Museum.
