Listed among "Money" magazine's "Top 100 Places to Live," Bethlehem is dominated by shopping and the state's largest casino resort.
Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Hawks Falls and Austin T Blakeslee Natural Area. Take a break from the city and head to Saucon Rail Trail and Putt U Miniature Golf. When in Bethlehem, make a side trip to see Bear Mountain Butterfly Sanctuary in Jim Thorpe, approximately Jim Thorpe away. And it doesn't end there: look for gifts at Seasons Olive Oil and Vinegar Tap Room, wander the streets of Colonial Industrial Quarter, appreciate the extensive heritage of Hoover Mason Trestle, and see human ingenuity at work at Illick's Mill park.

You'll get in some beach time at Pemaquid Beach Park and Pitcher Pond. Head to Maine State Prison Store and Beth's Farm Marketfor plenty of shopping. Explore Camden's surroundings by going to Boothbay Harbor (Opera House at Boothbay Harbor & Boothbay Region Land Trust) and Moose Point State Park (in Searsport).
