Brooklyn

— 7 nights

Borough of Trees

Though it may be less popular or touristy than its big brother Manhattan, Brooklyn boasts of one of the largest and hippest art districts in the United States.
Take a break from the city and head to Edwin B. Forsythe National Wildlife Refuge and Empire Fulton Ferry State Park. You'll explore and learn at Sagamore Hill National Historic Site and Planting Fields Arboretum State Historic Park. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Brooklyn: Baps Shri Swaminarayan Mandir (in Robbinsville), Norman J. Levy Park & Preserve (in Merrick) and Garden City (Long Island Children's Museum & Cradle of Aviation Museum). There's still lots to do: take a stroll through Bushwick Collective Street Art, stop by Brooklyn Heights, hunt for treasures at Williamsburg Smorgasburg, and identify plant and animal life at Bayard Cutting Arboretum.

For traveler tips, maps, where to stay, and tourist information, refer to the Brooklyn trip maker site.

Expect a daytime high around 61°F in April, and nighttime lows around 45°F.
