Surrounded by mountain ranges, forests, valleys, beaches, and deserts, the metropolitan area of Los Angeles is home to over 17 million people.
On the 7th (Sun), examine the collection at The Getty Center and then examine the collection at Diorama-museum of Bhagavad-gita. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the next day: tour the pleasant surroundings at Venice Beach and Boardwalk, wander the streets of Abbot Kinney Boulevard, then wander the streets of Montana Avenue, and finally appreciate the extensive heritage of Santa Monica Pier.

Gulfport to Los Angeles is an approximately 7.5-hour flight. You can also do a combination of bus and flight; or drive. The time zone changes from Central Standard Time to Pacific Standard Time, which is usually a -2 hour difference. Kick off your visit on the 10th (Wed): get a taste of the local shopping with Carmel Art Association, admire the majestic nature at Asilomar State Beach, and then immerse yourself in nature at Point Lobos.
