Calumet is a village in Calumet Township, Houghton County, in the U.S. Popular historic sites such as Fort Wilkins State Park and Keweenaw National Historical Park are in your itinerary. Escape the urban bustle at Brockway Mountain Drive and High Falls. Get out of town with these interesting Calumet side-trips: Copper Harbor (Estivant Pines Nature Sanctuary, Manganese Falls, & more), Grand Portage (Grand Portage State Park & Grand Portage National Monument) and Eagle Harbor (Eagle Harbor Lighthouse and Museums, The Jampot, & more). There's still lots to do: go deep underground at Quincy Mine, see the interesting displays at Copper Country Firefighters History Museum, take a peaceful walk through McLain State Park, and don't miss a visit to Italian Hall Site.
