Canyonlands National Park features myriad canyons and buttes that the Colorado River, Green River, and their tributaries have carved over millions of years in hues of red and orange.
Take a break from the city and head to Horseshoe Canyon and Broken Arch. Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Shafer Canyon Overlook and White Rim Trail. Explore Canyonlands National Park's surroundings by going to Arches National Park (Tower Arch & Tunnel Arch). Next up on the itinerary: hike along Cave Spring, cruise along White Rim Road, stroll through Pothole Point Trail, and get to know the fascinating history of Monument Basin.

Apache Junction to Canyonlands National Park is an approximately 8-hour combination of flight and taxi. You can also do a combination of flight and car; or drive.
