Durham to Charleston is an approximately 5-hour flight. You can also drive; or do a combination of train and car. Plan for a bit warmer temperatures traveling from Durham in November, with highs in Charleston at 68°F and lows at 49°F. You'll have a few hours on the 23rd (Wed) to wrap things up before traveling to Murrells Inlet.

Murrells Inlet — 2 nights

Murrells Inlet is an unincorporated area and census-designated place straddling the line between Horry and Georgetown Counties in South Carolina, United States. Brookgreen Gardens and Hopsewee Plantation are good opportunities to explore the local culture. Get outdoors at Litchfield Beach and Tom Yawkey Wildlife Center. When in Murrells Inlet, make a side trip to see SC-CARES - SC Coastal Animal Rescue & Educational Sanctuary in Georgetown, approximately Georgetown away. There's lots more to do: admire the majestic nature at Huntington Beach State Park, see what you can catch with a fishing tour, take in the waterfront at MarshWalk, and look for gifts at Harrelson's Seafood Market.
