Situated in one of Florida's busiest vacation areas, Cocoa Beach burst onto the world scene in the 1960s, when it became a popular setting for parades honoring the nation's "Apollo" astronauts.
Adventure Kayak of Cocoa Beach has been added to your itinerary. Bring the kids along to NASA Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex and Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge. When in Cocoa Beach, make a side trip to see Valiant Air Command Warbird Museum in Titusville, approximately Titusville away. There's still lots to do: see what you can catch with Time and Tide Tours, see the interesting displays at Parker Brothers Concepts, tour the pleasant surroundings at Manatee Sanctuary Park, and take a leisurely stroll along Cocoa Beach Pier.
