Start off your visit on the 24th (Wed): look for gifts at Honeyville, look for gifts at Animas Chocolate Company, then see the interesting displays at Durango and Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad and Museum, and finally make a trip to Historic Downtown Durango.

Glenwood Springs occupies a scenic location at the junction of the Colorado River and the Roaring Fork River, halfway between Vail and Aspen along the Front Range of the Rocky Mountains.
Step out of the city life by going to Rifle Gap State Park and Maroon Bells. Change things up with a short trip to Redstone Castle in Redstone (about 46 minutes away). It doesn't end there: test the waters at a local thermal spa and tour the pleasant surroundings at Hanging Lake Trail.
