One of the country's most popular shopping destinations, Dallas and its sprawling suburbs include more shopping centers per capita than any other urban center in America.

Sightseeing in Waco offers many possibilities in a medium-sized town on the Brazos River in central Texas.
You'll explore the less-touristy side of things at Mayborn Museum Complex and Topsey Exotic Ranch & Drive Thru Safari. Change things up with a short trip to Big Rocks Park in Glen Rose (about 1h 20 min away). There's much more to do: walk around Cameron Park, snap pictures at Waco Suspension Bridge, admire the masterpieces at Armstrong Browning Library and Museum, and take in the architecture and design of Baylor University.

Known for its Creole cuisine, rich musical tradition, and nearby swamps and plantations, New Orleans is one of the nation's oldest cities.
On the 3rd (Fri), sample the fine beverages at Old New Orleans Rum Distillery, explore the world behind art at The Sydney and Walda Besthoff Sculpture Garden at NOMA, then paddle through the water with a kayaking and canoeing tour, and finally see the interesting displays at Escape My Room New Orleans.
