Heart of the Florida Keys

A tiny city just 16 km (10 mi) long, Marathon is spread across several islands in the middle of the Florida Keys.
Visit Bahia Honda State Park and Sombrero Beach for some beach relaxation. Get in touch with nature at Dolphin Research Center and Scuba & Snorkeling. There's more to do: look for all kinds of wild species at The Turtle Hospital and snap pictures at Seven Mile Bridge.

Chicago to Marathon is an approximately 7.5-hour flight. You can also drive; or take a bus. The time zone difference moving from Central Standard Time (CST) to Eastern Standard Time (EST) is 1 hour. Prepare for much hotter weather when traveling from Chicago in April: high temperatures in Marathon hover around 86°F and lows are around 75°F. Diving Capital of the World

The northernmost island of the Florida Keys, Key Largo provides stunning scenery, a number of watersports opportunities, and plenty of areas to relax on vacation.
Start off your visit on the 6th (Tue): take a tour of African Queen Canal Cruise, then hike along Anhinga Trail, and then stop by Robert Is Here. On your second day here, get close to the beloved marine mammals with a swim-with-the-dolphins experience, look for all kinds of wild species at Molasses Reef, and then look for all kinds of wild species at Florida Keys Wild Bird Rehabilitation Center.

Fort Myers Beach is a town located on Estero Island in Lee County, Florida, United States.
