The northernmost island of the Florida Keys, Key Largo provides stunning scenery, a number of watersports opportunities, and plenty of areas to relax on vacation.
On the 29th (Sun), admire nature's wide array of creatures at Island Dolphin Care, then identify plant and animal life at Florida Keys Wild Bird Rehabilitation Center, and then see some colorful creatures with a scuba or snorkeling tour.

Heart of the Florida Keys

A tiny city just 16 km (10 mi) long, Marathon is spread across several islands in the middle of the Florida Keys.
On the 30th (Mon), kick back and relax at Bahia Honda State Park and then cast your line with a fishing tour. Keep things going the next day: pause for some serene contemplation at San Pablo Catholic Church, see the interesting displays at Crane Point Museum & Nature Center, then identify plant and animal life at The Turtle Hospital, and finally enjoy the sand and surf at Sombrero Beach.

Drive from Key Largo to Marathon in 1.5 hours. Alternatively, you can take a bus. Traveling from Key Largo in March, plan for somewhat warmer nights in Marathon, with lows around 24°C. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 31st (Tue) so you can go by car to Key West.

Located just 140 km (90 mi) from Cuba, Key West is an island only about 6.4 km (4 mi) long and 1.6 km (1 mi) wide.
Key West is known for wildlife, adventure, and museums.
