Diving Capital of the World
The northernmost island of the Florida Keys, Key Largo provides stunning scenery, a number of watersports opportunities, and plenty of areas to relax on vacation.Kick off your visit on the 27th (Sat): admire nature's wide array of creatures at Island Dolphin Care, then stop by Florida Keys Key Lime Products, and then identify plant and animal life at Florida Keys Wild Bird Rehabilitation Center. On the 28th (Sun), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: take a memorable tour with Capt. Sterling's Everglades Eco-Tours and then discover the deep blue sea with a scuba or snorkeling tour.

New York City to Key Largo is an approximately 7.5-hour flight. You can also drive; or take a bus. Traveling from New York City in March, expect Key Largo to be much hotter, temps between 79°F and 63°F. Finish your sightseeing early on the 28th (Sun) so you can drive to Islamorada.

Heart of the Florida Keys
A tiny city just 16 km (10 mi) long, Marathon is spread across several islands in the middle of the Florida Keys.Kick off your visit on the 30th (Tue): view the masterpieces at Shady Palm Art Gallery & Photography, look for all kinds of wild species at National Key Deer Refuge, and then enjoy the sand and surf at Bahia Honda State Park. Here are some ideas for day two: take in the architecture and atmosphere at San Pablo Catholic Church, then examine the collection at Crane Point Museum & Nature Center, then enjoy the sand and surf at Sombrero Beach, and finally look for all kinds of wild species at The Turtle Hospital.
