The Gateway to the Great Smoky Mountains

Nestled in the lush, wooded forests of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Gatlinburg is Tennessee’s premier mountain resort destination.
Head to The Old Mill Candy Kitchen and Tanger Outlets Seviervillefor plenty of shopping. Escape the urban bustle at Zipline and Cades Cove. Venture out of the city with trips to Great Smoky Mountains National Park (Clingmans Dome, Abrams Falls Trail, &more) and River Rafting & Tubing (in Bryson City). Spend the 8th (Thu) exploring nature at Great Smoky Mountains National Park. There's still lots to do: look for all kinds of wild species at Roaring Fork, admire the sheer force of Ramsey Cascades, hike along Alum Cave Trail, and view the masterpieces at Fowler's Clay Works.
