Georgia's oldest city, Savannah displays its colonial history proudly on every corner.
Do your shopping at Savannah Historic District and Signature Gallery. Popular historic sites such as Colonial Park Cemetery and Old Sheldon Church Ruins are in your itinerary. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Savannah: Beaufort (Bay Street, Beaufort National Cemetery, &more), Tanger Outlets Hilton Head (in Bluffton) and Waterskiing & Jetskiing (in Hilton Head). There's still lots to do: stop by Byrd Cookie Company, contemplate the long history of Green-Meldrim House, appreciate the extensive heritage of City Market, and contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Cathedral of St. John the Baptist.
