Fewer than 400 people call Keystone home year-round, but the population explodes in summer when crowds flock to nearby Mount Rushmore.
Bring the kids along to Mount Rushmore National Memorial and Iron Mountain Road. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Keystone: Custer (Sylvan Lake & Wildlife Loop Road). The adventure continues: immerse yourself in nature at Custer State Park, get in on the family fun at Rush Mountain Adventure Park, hike along Presidential Trail, and go deep underground at Big Thunder Gold Mine.
