Crown Jewel of Maui

Once the booming capital of the Hawaiian Kingdom, the tropical paradise of Lahaina still remains one of Maui's top vacation attractions, providing both culture and recreation.
Spend the 19th (Tue) exploring the striking scenery along Hana Highway - Road to Hana. There's still lots to do: head outdoors with Outdoor Activities, whizz through the canopy at some of the top local zipline courses and adventure parks, admire nature's wide array of creatures at Maui Ocean Center, and enjoy the sand and surf at Kapalua Beach.

Big Pineapple

In many ways much more Asian than American, Honolulu is Hawaii's largest city and its center of government, transportation, commerce, and tourism.
Change things up with a short trip to Kailua Beach Park in Kailua (about 32 minutes away). There's lots more to do: browse the exhibits of USS Arizona Memorial, steep yourself in history at Battleship Missouri Memorial, explore the different monuments and memorials at National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, and see some colorful creatures with a scuba or snorkeling tour.
