Lihue or Līhue is an unincorporated census-designated place (CDP) and the county seat of Kauai County, Hawaii. Kick off your visit on the 8th (Mon): take in the dramatic scenery at Wailua Falls. On the 9th (Tue), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: kick back and relax at Shipwreck Beach, then see some colorful creatures with a scuba or snorkeling tour, and then kick your exploration up a notch at some of the top local zipline courses and adventure parks.

San Francisco to Lihue is an approximately 7.5-hour flight. You can also do a combination of train and flight. The time zone difference moving from Pacific Standard Time to Hawaii Standard Time is minus 2 hours. In June, Lihue is somewhat warmer than San Francisco - with highs of 83°F and lows of 73°F. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 9th (Tue) so you can travel to Lahaina.

Once the booming capital of the Hawaiian Kingdom, the tropical paradise of Lahaina still remains one of Maui's top vacation attractions, providing both culture and recreation.
Step off the beaten path and head to Napili Beach and Wailea Beach. Step out of the city life by going to Ho'okipa Beach Park and Kapalua Beach. Explore Lahaina's surroundings by going to Zipline (in Haiku) and Makena Beach (in Wailea). There's still lots to do: take a memorable tour with Tours, discover the deep blue sea with a scuba or snorkeling tour, and examine the collection at Whalers Village Museum.

Do a combination of flight and bus from Lihue to Lahaina in 3.5 hours. In June, plan for daily highs up to 84°F, and evening lows to 72°F. Finish your sightseeing early on the 12th (Fri) so you can travel to Honolulu.

In many ways much more Asian than American, Honolulu is Hawaii's largest city and its center of government, transportation, commerce, and tourism.
Kick off your visit on the 13th (Sat): stroll through Koko Crater Railway Trail, then stroll the grounds of USS Arizona Memorial, and then explore the different monuments and memorials at National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific. On the next day, see the interesting displays at USS Bowfin Submarine Museum & Park, then trek along Makapuu Lighthouse Trail, and then identify plant and animal life at Hanauma Bay Nature Preserve.

Fly from Lahaina to Honolulu in 3.5 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of ferry and flight; or do a combination of bus and flight. In June, plan for daily highs up to 86°F, and evening lows to 74°F. Wrap up your sightseeing by early afternoon on the 15th (Mon) to allow time for travel back home.
