In many ways much more Asian than American, Honolulu is Hawaii's largest city and its center of government, transportation, commerce, and tourism.
Explore hidden gems such as Bellows Field Beach Park and Kalama Beach Park. Head to Ko Hana Distillers and Saturday Farmer's Market KCCfor plenty of shopping. Change things up with these side-trips from Honolulu: Banzai Pipeline (in Pupukea) and Green World Coffee Farms (in Wahiawa). Next up on the itinerary: contemplate the long history of Queen Emma Summer Palace, pause for some photo ops at Prince Kuhio Statue, enjoy the sand and surf at Kaimana Beach, and admire the landmark architecture of Saint Augustine by-the-Sea.

For where to stay, maps, photos, and tourist information, you can read our Honolulu tour planning website .
