Set deep in the Ouachita Mountains, the city of Hot Springs almost completely surrounds the national park of the same name.
Start off your visit on the 17th (Sat): tour the pleasant surroundings at Anthony Chapel and then admire the natural beauty at Garvan Woodland Gardens. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the next day: get answers to all your questions at Fordyce Bathhouse, then enjoy breathtaking views from Hot Springs Mountain Tower, then make a trip to Bathhouse Row, and finally indulge in some personalized pampering at some of the best spas.

Houston to Hot Springs is an approximately 6.5-hour flight. You can also drive; or do a combination of bus, train, and taxi. Kids will appreciate attractions like Silver Dollar City and Ozark Mountain Ziplines.
