Albany is the capital of the U.S. state of New York and the seat of Albany County. Head to Troy Waterfront Farmers' Market and Crossgatesfor plenty of shopping. Museum-lovers will appreciate Albany Institute of History & Art and Schuyler Mansion. The adventure continues: stroll through Albany Pine Bush Preserve, steep yourself in history at Shaker Heritage Society, admire the landmark architecture of New York State Education Department, and stroll the grounds of Oakwood Cemetery.
