Poipū is a census-designated place in Kauai County on the southern side of the island of Kauai in the U.S. Step out of the city life by going to Waimea Canyon State Park and Sleeping Giant Trail. We've included these beaches for you: Poipu Beach Park and Polihale State Park. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Poipu: Canyon Trail (in Waimea) and Kayaking & Canoeing (in Kapaa). The adventure continues: hike along Maha'ulepu Heritage Trail, visit a coastal fixture at Ninini Point Lighthouse Cache Site, stroll through Shipwreck Beach, and brush up on your knowledge of spirits at Koloa Rum Company.
