Originally intended as a resort city to serve the Mammoth Cave attraction, Cave City has taken on a life of its own.
Kids will appreciate attractions like Mammoth Cave and Hidden River Cave and American Cave Museum. Your cultural itinerary includes sights like Abraham Lincoln Birthplace National Historical Park and National Corvette Museum. Change things up with a short trip to Cub Run Cave in Cub Run (about 38 minutes away). There's lots more to do: surround yourself with nature on a nature and wildlife tour, explore the fascinating underground world of Onyx Cave, make a trip to 1921 Standard Oil Station, and join the crowd at NCM Motorsports Park.
