Klamath is an unincorporated, rural, census-designated place in Del Norte County, California, situated on US Route 101 inland from the mouth of the Klamath River. You've now added Klamath River to your itinerary. Change things up with these side-trips from Klamath: Trinidad Memorial and Memorial Lighthouse (in Trinidad), Eureka (Redwood Highway & Hikshari Trail) and Redwood National Park (Redwood National Park & Tall Trees Grove). There's still lots to do: take an unorthodox tour of Trees of Mystery, learn more about the world around you at Yurok Country Visitor Center, see the interesting displays at End of the Trail Museum, and make a trip to Tour-Through Tree.

To find photos, traveler tips, other places to visit, and more tourist information, refer to the Klamath vacation planner.

In April, daytime highs in Klamath are 57°F, while nighttime lows are 45°F. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 16th (Thu) so you can travel back home.
