Nicknamed the "Entertainment Capital of the World," Las Vegas sits in the middle of a desert in the southern section of Nevada.
Get outdoors at Off-Road Tours and Horseback Riding Tours. You'll explore the less-touristy side of things at Skydiving and Shelby American Inc. Next up on the itinerary: get to know the fascinating history of The Strip, admire the local landmark of Fountains of Bellagio, try your luck at Wynn Las Vegas, and take in nature's colorful creations at Bellagio Conservatory & Botanical Gardens.

New York City to Las Vegas is an approximately 7-hour flight. You can also drive; or do a combination of train and bus. The time zone difference moving from Eastern Standard Time to Pacific Standard Time is minus 3 hours. While traveling from New York City, expect somewhat warmer days and about the same nights in Las Vegas, ranging from highs of 82°F to lows of 60°F.
