Get some historical perspective at Point Betsie Lighthouse and Fishtown. Step off the beaten path and head to Pirate's Cove Adventure Golf and Clinch Park. Go for a jaunt from Traverse City to Empire to see Empire Bluff Trail about 36 minutes away. There's lots more to do: explore the landscape on two wheels at Traverse Area Recreation and Transportation Trails, experience rural life at Light of Day Organics, do a tasting at Black Star Farms Winery, and sample the fine beverages at Grand Traverse Distillery.
