Mackinac Island is a city in Mackinac County in the U.S. state of Michigan. Get outdoors at Wings of Mackinac Butterfly Conservatory and Eagle Point Cave. Get some historical perspective at Fort Holmes and Trinity Church. Paradise is an unincorporated community in Whitefish Township, Chippewa County in the U.S. state of Michigan.Paradise is on the northeastern portion of Michigan's Upper Peninsula, on the western side of Whitefish Bay, Lake Superior, about 60mi by road from Sault Ste. Kick off your visit on the 19th (Mon): take an in-depth tour of Whitefish Point Light, then look and learn at Whitefish Point Bird Observatory, and then examine the collection at Great Lakes Shipwreck Museum. On the 20th (Tue), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: tour the old-fashioned way with Toonerville Trolley Train and Boat Tours, then contemplate the waterfront views at Tahquamenon Falls, and then take in the dramatic scenery at Tahquamenon Falls State Park.

In April, daily temperatures in Paradise can reach 43°F, while at night they dip to 27°F. Cap off your sightseeing on the 20th (Tue) early enough to go by car to Sault Ste. Marie.
