Natchez is the county seat and only city of Adams County, Mississippi, United States. Start off your visit on the 2nd (Tue): take in the spiritual surroundings of Emerald Mound, then contemplate the long history of Mount Locust Inn & Plantation, then contemplate the long history of Longwood, and finally stroll through Bluff Park. Keep things going the next day: learn about winemaking at Old South Winery, stroll the grounds of Natchez National Cemetery, get engrossed in the history at Natchez Museum of African American History and Culture, then contemplate in the serene atmosphere at First Presbyterian Church, and finally take in the architecture and atmosphere at St. Mary Basilica.
