Step off the beaten path and head to Windsor Ruins and Jesse Brent Lower Mississippi River Museum and Interpretive Center. Visit Anchuca Mansion and Grand Gulf Military Park for their historical value. Get out of town with these interesting Vicksburg side-trips: Jackson (Old Capitol Museum & Mississippi State Capitol). There's much more to do: see the interesting displays at The Old Depot Museum, tour the pleasant surroundings at Catfish Row Children's Art Park, try your luck at Ameristar Casino Vicksburg, and pause for some photo ops at Texas Monument.
