Big Sky — 2 nights

Big Sky is a census-designated place (CDP) in Gallatin and Madison counties in southwestern Montana. Venture out of the city with trips to West Yellowstone (Yellowstone Big Gun Fun & Grizzly and Wolf Discovery Center). There's lots more to do: let the river carry you with a rafting and tubing tour, hike along Ousel Falls Trail, take your sightseeing to a higher altitude at Lone Peak, and take a pleasant ride with a tour on horseback.

Newark to Big Sky is an approximately 6-hour flight. You can also drive. Due to the time zone difference, you'll gain 2 hours traveling from Newark to Big Sky. Traveling from Newark in August, expect nights in Big Sky to be much colder, around 37°F, while days are little chillier, around 75°F. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 22nd (Mon) early enough to drive to Gardiner.

You'll find plenty of places to visit near West Glacier: Glacier National Park (Going-to-the-Sun Road, Logan Pass, &more). On the 27th (Sat), wrap the sightseeing up by early afternoon so you can fly back home.
