Natchez is the county seat and only city of Adams County, Mississippi, United States. Start off your visit on the 13th (Fri): explore the wealth of natural beauty at Melrose. On the 14th (Sat), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: pause for some serene contemplation at St. Mary Basilica, admire the landmark architecture of First Presbyterian Church, then steep yourself in history at Rosalie Mansion, then stroll the grounds of Natchez City Cemetery, and finally contemplate the long history of Stanton Hall.

Known for its Creole cuisine, rich musical tradition, and nearby swamps and plantations, New Orleans is one of the nation's oldest cities.
Garden District and St. Louis Cathedral are good opportunities to explore the local culture. Deepen your sense of the past at sights like French Quarter and Destrehan Plantation. Change things up with a short trip to Whitney Plantation in Wallace (about 52 minutes away). Spend the 15th (Sun) exploring nature at Jean Lafitte National Historical Park and Preserve. There's still lots to do: add some adventure to your tour with a kayaking and canoeing tour, admire the masterpieces at The Sydney and Walda Besthoff Sculpture Garden at NOMA, appreciate the extensive heritage of Jackson Square, and learn about all things military at The National WWII Museum.
