Portland — 1 night

Maine's biggest and perhaps most vibrant city, Portland was established as a fishing village in 1633 and grew to become New England's largest port.
Start off your visit on the 1st (Sat): sample the tasty concoctions at Allagash Brewing Company and then take a stroll through Old Port. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the 2nd (Sun): kick back and relax at Wells Beach, then kick back and relax at Long Sands Beach, and then take an in-depth tour of Portsmouth Historical Society's Discover Portsmouth Welcome Center.
