A small resort town with a year-round population of just 3,000, Provincetown draws nearly 60,000 annual visitors with its scenic beaches, art colonies, galleries, theaters, and shops.
Kick off your visit on the 13th (Sat): stroll through Race Point Beach. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the 14th (Sun): see majestic marine mammals with a dolphin and whale watching tour, then stroll through Herring Cove Beach, and then do a tasting at Truro Vineyards of Cape Cod.

Atlanta to Provincetown is an approximately 5.5-hour flight. You can also do a combination of flight and ferry; or drive. Traveling from Atlanta in June, things will get little chillier in Provincetown: highs are around 72°F and lows about 56°F. Finish your sightseeing early on the 15th (Mon) to allow enough time to drive to Newport.

On the 16th (Tue), admire all the interesting features of Beavertail Lighthouse and Park, contemplate the long history of The Elms, then admire the landmark architecture of Marble House, and finally steep yourself in history at Fort Adams State Park.

Traveling by car from Provincetown to Newport takes 3 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of ferry and bus; or do a combination of ferry and train. Expect a daytime high around 73°F in June, and nighttime lows around 58°F. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 16th (Tue) so you can go by car to Ogunquit.

Ogunquit means "beautiful place by the sea" in the language of the Native Americans who inhabited the region long ago, and this remains an accurate description of this holiday destination today.
Kick off your visit on the 17th (Wed): stroll through Ogunquit Beach, enjoy the sea views from Cape Neddick Nubble Lighthouse, and then enjoy the sand and surf at Long Sands Beach. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the 18th (Thu): contemplate the long history of Strawbery Banke Museum, kick back and relax at Hampton Beach State Park, and then tour the pleasant surroundings at Wells Beach.

You can drive from Newport to Ogunquit in 3 hours. Alternatively, you can take a bus; or do a combination of bus and train. Plan for little chillier nights when traveling from Newport in June since evenings lows in Ogunquit dip to 52°F. Finish your sightseeing early on the 18th (Thu) to allow enough time to drive to Lincoln.

On the 19th (Fri), take in the dramatic natural features at Flume Gorge, then explore the striking landscape at The Basin at Franconia Notch State Park, and then admire the majestic nature at Franconia Notch State Park. On your second day here, identify plant and animal life at Lost River Gorge and Boulder Caves and then take a memorable tour with Tours.

Traveling by car from Ogunquit to Lincoln takes 2.5 hours. Alternatively, you can take a bus. In June in Lincoln, expect temperatures between 75°F during the day and 51°F at night. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 20th (Sat) so you can travel back home.
