On the 23rd (Sun), trot along with a tour on horseback, examine the collection at La Hacienda del los Martinez, then examine the collection at Millicent Rogers Museum, and finally enjoy unforgettable views with a balloon tour. On the next day, take in the spiritual surroundings of San Francisco de Assisi Mission Church, let the river carry you with a rafting and tubing tour, then snap pictures at Rio Grande Gorge Bridge, and finally delve into the distant past at Taos Pueblo.

Traveling by car from Taos to Santa Fe takes 1.5 hours. Alternatively, you can take a bus. Traveling from Taos in June, things will get somewhat warmer in Santa Fe: highs are around 89°F and lows about 56°F. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 26th (Wed) so you can travel to Albuquerque.
