Albuquerque remains one of the state's secret jewels, as its tourist attractions are often overshadowed by the more popular holiday destination of Santa Fe.
Start off your visit on the 24th (Wed): learn more about the world around you at Indian Pueblo Cultural Center, browse the exhibits of New Mexico Steam Locomotive and Railroad Historical Society, then take in the dramatic natural features at Petroglyph National Monument, and finally take a memorable tour with Tours. On the 25th (Thu), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: appreciate the extensive heritage of Albuquerque Old Town, get curious at Explora Science Center and Children's Museum of Albuquerque, and then look for gifts at The Candy Lady.
